BENJAMIN L. RACKLIFFE NAMED PARTNER; CHRISTOPHER F. HOMSY JOINS BUSINESS TEAM AS ASSOCIATE

Managing Principal Gary R. Pannone recently announced that Attorney Benjamin L. Rackliffe has become a Partner and that Christopher F. Homsy has joined the firm as an Associate with the Business Law and Estate Planning Teams.

Attorney Rackliffe is a member of the firm's Business Law and Nonprofit Organizations teams. He is a frequent lecturer and is considered a leading authority in the areas of corporate and regulatory compliance. Attorney Rackliffe is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Roger Williams University School of Law Pro Bono Collaborative and on the Board of Directors of The Steel Yard. Prior to joining PLDO, Attorney Rackliffe served as assistant general counsel to a hospitality and real estate development corporation and was also an associate attorney for a Rhode Island-based construction and engineering litigation firm representing multinational and U.S. contractor corporations. 

He earned his J.D. from Roger Williams University School of Law and his undergraduate degree in 2004 from Providence College, where he is a Special Lecturer for an undergraduate course entitled, Legal Environment of Business. Attorney Homsy is a member of the Corporate & Business Law Team as well as the Estate Planning Team. Attorney Homsy earned his J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from Suffolk University Law School, and a B.S. in Business Administration from Elon University in North Carolina.
